Good morning to everyone, On 21st of May I and my father went to the hospital to take a CT scan but when we went there they told us that the doctors are on strike so we cant take the scan. And from the past 1 and half years i have been facing this severe/serious pains which i cant even sleep, so what i have to do is to sit and sleep. So we apologize to the nurse there to show us different place to go and take this scan, So she told us to go to Techiman a Town in Brong Ahafo so i and my father picked a car and we went there so after the CT scan i was diagnosed with POTT’S Disease. So when we receive the report we took it to the doctor and the doctor gave us medicine to take but still I have been going through this pains and night before yesterday i was again admitted at the hospital again but came home the next day. This pain is really eating me up i need your help to get a surgery so that i will be free from this pain.

Thank you sir for your support

Treatment of tuberculous spondylitis involves combination therapy with several antituberculous drugs. It is usually recommended 6-9 months of cure.

Surgery is relevant if inflamed tissue presses against the spinal cord. Surgery can also be performed if the spine becomes unstable, or in the event of a major bias in the back, or if it is needed to drain a boil.

First line TB drugs

The first line TB drugs are:

  • Isoniazid (H/Inh)
  • Rifampicin (R/Rif) (In the United States rifampicin is called rifampin)
  • Pyrazinamide (Z/Pza)
  • Ethambutol (E/Emb)

These are the antitubercular drugs that generally have the greatest activity against TB bacteria. This medicine for TB is particularly used for someone with active TB disease who has not had TB drug treatment before. All the other TB drugs are generally referred to as second line TB drugs.

Usually spinal surgery is not recommended, and I would NEVER recommend it!
Find a Chiropractor that knows how to treat your spine, to relieve pressure on vertebrae that are pinching nerves that emerge between them, and take your drugs.

Thank you sir
