I also like the fact that Steem is somewhat of a "utility" coin-- in the sense that there's an actual economic reason for its existence. This isn't just a bunch of promises, and someone who cleverly used the word "blockchain" in their White Paper 43 times to lure in hapless investors.
Of course, that's probably part of what adds to the (relative) stability.
That is a great explanation. I like the term "utitlity coin". I have been looking for a way to describe coins that have an application.
