What is the point of these articles and why doesn't a bot hit them?
You can be hit by Cheetah for posting quoted text and not providing a source. Cheetah will also hit your for posting your own article from your blog, if you haven't worked out the steps to keep him from doing it.
You can be hit by SteemCleaners if you post an affiliate link to a particular altcoin trading site or just talking about certain altcoins.
You can be downvoted for saying that you don't like the color of the new logo.
And, you can even be downvoted for calling out another account on something, even if what you say is true.
So, why is this allowed?
How does this benefit STEEM ro STEEMit?
Multiple accounts posting multiple "news" articles. If posting one news article without providing any original content is bad, how is bad is posting multiple "news" articles as a summary article?
It is hard enough to get an article seen as it is, with only 20k active users. I can't imagine how hard it will become as Steem grows and so does the posting bots. Is this not a focus of Steem, to provide good quality content?

Totaly agree with you. But im going to build an own "bot" for myself but that one is only there for scheduling my posts properly After my own desires.
There is a WordPress to STEEMit plugin, but it has issues. I was hoping that I could use it to create my posts on my WordPressed based blogs and then have it time to post on both my blog and STEEMit. I will have to check back in to see if the plugin maker has fixed that issue.
Where is your farm situated? I couldnt sort the place you live in into a specific country.

Around 2009 i lived in Florida for 2 years.

Maybe someone should start a "List of Accounts to Mute" thread.

bots do %95 of the voting.
Only 5% of the posts that are voted on are even viewed.
plus...what you are proposing is censorship..
They already do it with Steem Cleaners and Cheetah. Why not remove the bot posts that are copy content from other sites? The bots don't have the right to that content in the first place.

Both.
They use the summary information, images and link to the article.
I am new to this platform, but in my short time here I've seen that little cheetah bot in the comments on many of "what I thought were very good posts". So there are many reasons he could have shown up then?
Now I am a bit worried, I have been a researcher (heavy duty) for the past 17 years and have over 20 blogs of my own. Was hoping to get some of that researched info over here to the Steemit community for a more fully informed public. Guess I better rethink my strategy now :(
There is apparently away to contact Cheetah's handler and make sure your own blog is removed from the searches against your Steemit articles.
Thank you @deanlogic that is good to know. Some of these "bots", or whatever they are, certainly take up a lot of space in a persons comment log. I see a lot of the automated "upvote" bots that use mighty big pictures too.
Fucking annoying if you ask me, I always downvote them. I surely like the upvote but damn stop fucking over my comment section you fucking greedy bot retard.
Fuck all that shit seriously. People are doing that because it is the easy way.
They don't want to write long ass, well-formatted comments because they are lazy hedonists who want to make quick money on Steem.
They will soon be gone and back to Facebook/Twitter/Instagram where they say "LOL STEEM IS SCAM YOU CANT MAKE MONEY THERE".
They are destroying themselves by their actions.
Same with all this color challenge bullshit. I should flag all that shit but I would make countless enemies with that.
Like I said, there is an article talking about the color that was downvoted. It wasn't even that harsh of an article.
