Witnesses and Steem Team we need--> Steem Trading Competition

First off, let me wish all Steemians a bright and prosperous New Year, may all your wishes comes through and may we see better prices in 2019. 2018 has been a challenge for many of us involve in the cryptocurrency space with prices dropping and prolong bear market, it meant lots of adjustment had to be made. Nonetheless, we are entering a new year and with the incredible infrastructure that has been laid out in 2018, we can see that level of growth reflected in prices.

I wanted to share my thoughts with witnesses and the Steem team, its not the first time I have been suggesting the idea of a Steem trading competition across multiple exchanges. This morning I came across one sponsored by the Binance (BNB) team and I think its a format that Steem can follow

Lets get the new year rolling with some enthusiasm and excitement about the events and things happening on the Steem blockchain. Hoping that @smooth-a and even witness @timcliff would like an initiative like this. We should also target this across exchanges, hopefully we can get this event running on each exchange during varying time.
