An interesting part about the split is that it is the first time in Blockchain history that not only transaction data have been transferred but also content, which is based on legal views not easily transferable.

I have been curious about the copyright situation regarding duplicating the old posts. I am not an expert, but intuitively it seems strange to assume there's implicit permission to publish something on the Hive blockchain just because it was previously published via the Steem blockchain.
