What's up Jerry and STEEM community? I joined Steem because of @jerrybanfield (and because of my growing disdain for traditional corporate/government controlled social media). Put my application in around new years and finally got accepted yesterday (pro tip(from a non-pro): don't sign up with a google voice number, it will never work. Use your real number, tell your friends if they are having issues).
I feel I have finally found a platform where I will feel comfortable attempting to create a body of work. Knowing what I do can't be wiped out on a whim by a corporate demagogy puts me at ease.
I look forward to contributing content to this platform and growing as a human.

Thanks for your videos because without them I would have been even later to the STEEM party. Crypto is the future and the future is here. Perseverance brings prosperity! I am going to put my heart into this, my true and uncensored self, and if it breaks i'll glue it back together.

STEEM is the sword of truth, cutting through fears of corporate and government intervention that rip the voice from holders of uncommon knowledge. Finally, freedom of speech, the thing I have been waiting for my entire life.

I believe that we all have goodness within us too.

It's very cool that STEEM brings out the best in us, I think the potential for rewards will derive a ton of new and interesting content from people who would normally keep their ideas internal only. I won't lie, I would have been far too lazy to do even half of this on traditional social media. But who knows, now I might get a cookie for putting myself out there and overcoming my anxiety to hit post when exercising personal truths. Traditional media just doesn't have that potential.

You had $700 in the bank in college? DAMN, I would have bought a fat bag of weed with that (maybe that's why I never had $700 in the bank during my college years)
