WHAT IF STEEMIT HAD A NOTIFICATION BUTTON? - Steemit suggestion
One evening I was wondering about the functions of Steemit as a felt something was missing. It was like I did not have full control and overview of my activity on this platform. So it occurred to me; there is no notification function on this site!
It's not like it's a new invention, but it should definitely be a part of Steemit as well!
I made a quick suggestion of what it should look like:
And when you click on the button, there should of course be a page showing all your notifications. Something like this:

Detailed list:
- Choose which notifications you want to receive in your settings.
- Get notified about comments, replies, upvotes, followers, incoming transactions, flags, and more.
- A bell or similar icon in the top right corner with an indication of unread notifications (example above).
- A page with a list of notification (example above).
- Notification by the browser itself.
So how about that? I'm sure developers are aware of this, but I thought I should make a post anyways. What functions would you like to see on Steemit?

I think it will be good, but what will be told? whether when someone replied to our comments? or maybe when someone gives us an upvote? if the notification button is there, and what it tells is something like I said, it could be that notification button will be very noisy and much, especially if someone has a follower of up to five thousands, but whatever it is if it concerns for steemit development for the better, I agree @cyphico
Yeah I see what you mean. There should be a limitation to how often a notification should be shown for each post. And when it comes to upvotes, there could be a notification for each milestone, for example 10, 50, 100, 500, 1000 upvotes and so on. But yeah, I bet the developers have a solution to that, since it works on FB and Instagram
will be different when it comes to social media, because steemit is different from social media, where social media needs notifications to connect everyone, but if it will have a notification button, it will be a big step for steemit, it's just my opinion 😁
