The next bull run

Well it looks like the market has really taken off as billions of dollars that has been waiting on the sidelines is finally coming back in to the market. As we get closer to Segwit activation and there is less chance there is of anything going wrong, the market will continue to rise.

Bitcoin is continuing to rise coming back up to reach its previous high of 2900. Typically it takes a few attempts at the the previous ATH before it breaks through and surges ahead. Many experts are expecting quite a nice run after breaking through the $3000 resistance level, so it will be very interesting to see how high it can go.

Segwit should activate in approx 2 weeks

In order for Segwit to activate, miners are required to continue to signal over 80% for bit1 and bip141. It was still a concern that even after BIP91 was locked in, that miners would not signal for bit1 and segwit might not be activated. Concerns are starting to disssapear as miners are continuing to signal for bit1 and are supporting the activation of segwit.

Steem outperforms most cryptos

The price of steem has surged recently, performing even better than most of the cryptocurrencies and the chart looks very bullish moving forward. It looks like the bottom is behind us now and further growth could continue throughout the rest of the year. Steem is at $1.66 usd and .00059 btc. A resistance level at .00057 has been broken and steem could continue up in to the .00066btc - .00073btc area.
