Virtual Reality - VR Gaming & Crypto

We are starting to see a new trend of gaming technology, which has advanced over time. With better graphics, three dimensional options and realistic motion tracking. From your Atari, to your Playstation, to your Xbox, to your Wii phase, to the point that I started worrying about different things and lost track. I have happily reemerged into the gaming community, its 2020 and Augmented reality has become a norm with AR games now available on your cell phone. The next big budding tech is virtual reality, and the games of our childhood dreams are here. There is real, fantastic, consumer available Virtual Reality now and I am ecstatic.

My first experience with VR was at the IOHK Summit 2019, where they were exhibiting their new work on IOHK Symphony Of Blockchains. This is a total immersive experience in which you can walk through the blockchain (yes the real blockchain), learning about how the technology began and works. With elements like interacting with individual blocks and visual storytelling, it actually makes blockchain fun.

My next few experiences with VR were still in Florida... (Are we sensing some sort of trend here or do I just have more friends in Florida?)

I myself am now looking to get a VR headset. I have been enjoying this technology incredibly and would love to have it in my own home. The catch for VR headsets is that to use the mass majority of them, you will need a strong gaming computer. There have been other more portable options such as these made by Google:

This headset allows you to put your phone directly into the mask in order to use VR, this is a lower cost version of a portable VR headset but has obvious capability restraints.

Recently Oculus has come out with a new completely built in headset, the Oculus Quest. I'm looking into getting this to avoid buying a serious gaming PC. Has anybody used this? Any suggestions for portable VR headsets?
