It is true that shares bring a lot more value than comments and votes. In the ideal world, they should be rewarded proportionally. But I don't know how steemit could prevent abuse of the share button. :-/
Yes, good point, if people are sharing to fake Facebook and Twitter accounts, then it's no good. I think the key is not to place too much importance on any one of the elements. However when you are combining a good comment, with a good link, a vote and a share, then the time to do those things convincingly should put off the bot makers.
