ADDICTED TO STEEMIT.
I realized last week when I lost my internet for four days that I am a member of the SA. The Steemit Anonymous group. Like an alcoholic from the AA I need this place in my life. It's not about the needing it but I really enjoy it. It is a place that has filled a void in my life. When you spend six hours or more on here everyday what are you going to do when you have no access?
I had no idea I needed something. If you had said that I would be blogging on a platform I would have said you were nuts. Maybe it is the using of the brain again. One gets comfortable in life and maybe a bit stale with few challenges to stimulate the mind. There is crap on TV and I have very few challenges at work. Realistically I had outgrown my job years ago and was bored. This platform stimulates my brain in a way that it hasn't been pushed in years.
How can you get bored here? It is a super challenge to start and grow your account and I can see why so many give up. This place is tough and takes a huge commitment to succeed. I don't see it like a majority of users though. I am not trying to make a fortune overnight with unrealistic expectations. I can remember what @tarazkp said when I was in my first few weeks ,and that building your account was like doing a University degree. I am here to learn and grow as a person and improve my communication skills. If you succeed on here and are successful then there are very few challenges you can't do in life. This is a degree in Social Media, a grown up version of Face Book without friends and family supporting you. You have to communicate to grow.
This platform will explode once the masses realize what Steemit is all about and what it can do for them. Monetary value needs to be secondary even though it will grow the more successful you are . I used to look at my account regularly but that was more of a guide and a learning tool. I am comfortable with what I am doing and my thought process is about helping others around me.
I am addicted to enjoying life and having fun and Steemit ticks all the boxes. My wish is others find it and enjoy it as much as I do.

howdy today @cryptoandcoffee! it sounds like you are overqualified for your job my friend but luckily you won't get bored here for awhile! I don't know of anybody who is overqualified for Steemit! great post, I think most of us can relate.
Hi @janton. I think you are right on both counts. Luckily my job is changing and time to do my own thing. With Steemit the platform changes all the time so growth and learning go hand in hand.

Hi janton. Yes, I have already started as procrastination doesn't help anyone. Have been busy working on it now for a few weeks and is already doing well.
what, really?? are you going to do some posts about it?
Maybe. In the future yes but lots of work still. I am using what I know and my contacts from the last 10 years. I have the gift of the gab and can sell anything. A brain for figures helps so will be all good.

I share your point of view. Steemit is a great platform to test out our writing skills, or video, photography and any other visual art form. We shouldn't see it as a gold mine. If we get lucky, well, let's enjoy it...that's all. But depending on Steemit to make a living? Definitely not for now
Hi Jessica. You are right. Enjoy it for what it is and you will grow anyway. It is a goldmine of fun and who knows what the future holds.
Yes man, this makes sense and I get it 100%. I also used to look at this kind of site and thought, awe please give me a break, but you miss out on the interaction very quickly and bookface I really just keep for reminding me about birthdays these days as very few people on that platform says anything of significant interest. Good show

Not necessarily. Interacting and commenting on posts so your followers upvote you. The more you comment the more they get to know you. That is the key.

Well I'm hoping you'll find the interest in the platform even after your addiction wears out. That's one point of danger - first getting excited, then feeling addicted and when that wears out...
It can end up with trying to find something else to get hooked on.
