RE: Less posts on steem

in #steem7 years ago

Dear @happyvoter

The number of posts on steem is continuously decreasing

Indeed.
It's hard not to have an impression that there is less and less publications. I think we all expected it. Users with little SP will most likely give up on this platform. Simple as that.

I'm wondering if it really matters that much that number of posts is decreasing. After all most publications on steemit were not worth anybodys time. And plenty of it was nothing but self-upvoted spam.

A big challenge is to keep small accounts on steem

I don't see it happening. Most large stakeholders seem to care about boarding new users, and hardly care about existing userbase.

I'm doing my part and launched @project.hope lately (check out our website

Great read.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your comment.

I don't see it happening. Most large stakeholders seem to care about boarding new users, and hardly care about existing userbase.

This is indeed a big problem. Everybody speaks about onboarding but this is not the solution if all new steem users stop to use the platform after a couple of days. The process of helping people on their way is even more important. It's easier to help existing users than to attract new ones. In addition happy users will automatically attract other people as well.
