Every day, I bring you eight posts you should think hard about upvoting and supporting. These are quality posts, well written and good examples of the best the community has to offer. Please consider checking them out, and if you agree, love them up.

Welcome to the brave new world of HF19, where we minnows all of a sudden acquired some length and girth, and the ability to confer real rewards on other people. It’s kind of a miracle, and makes me even more excited for what BestOf can do for the obscure posts we feature here. Go forth, and help these people prosper. If we have the power to confer rewards on quality, let's make sure that we're doing that.

Today's Best

Writing (Fiction): Late Night Steemit Cafe Number 10 by @jenkinrocket. Seriously? There were nine of these and I didn’t know? Well, I know now, and so do you. Worth the read, especially because of the weird POV. Writing in second person is always bizarre, and it works perfectly here.

Writing (Nonfiction): I Really Dislike My Easy Job by @eliwasson. If only there were more people like this. At least the boring job allows him to post occasionally.

Writing (Craft): Three Ideas for a Novel That You’ll Never Write by @preparedwombat. A few years ago I went to a writing seminar with Orson Scott Card where we wrote the guts of a novel in half an hour. Knowing that nobody else in the room would do it, I took that and wrote the rest of it. I may do that with one of these, too, because they’re very good.

Steemit community: Steemit News and Curation Report 6-20-17 by @trevorlyman. Trevor has been a regular here, and then he comes up with this lovely post, part of what I hope will be an ongoing series, showing how Steemit is doing not just here on-site, but in social media and other sites. It’s great stuff. Take a minute and check it out.

Introduceyourself: I’m Jake Kobrin and Art Is My Life by @kobrinart. Most intro posts are a couple of scrolls, two or three pictures. This one? It’s a freaking catalogue of some mind-blowing paintings and drawings. Take the time, and vote this up.

Steem: Will Inflation Crash Steem by @crypto-investor. Lots of money flying around since HF19. Is that a problem? Nope. Here @crypto-investor explains to us why.

Music: Fairweather Friends ft. Erin Brick by @harrisonmir. You know, I was rushing to get to something else when I came across this piece. I stopped, listened to the whole thing, then hit replay and listened again. I love music, and this was...really good.

Special Prize: A Reminder How Beautiful Libya Is by @topslim. What do I know about Libya? Nothing. Nothing that matters, anyway. Thanks to @topslim for showing me a wondrous place I hardly knew existed.

I don't like grammar and spelling errors. I make them, but I hate them. Unless the post is supremely brilliant, even a couple of these--especially in the title--will mean it doesn't make this list. NOTE: if you're writing in your second language, significant slack will be given here. When I write in my second language, I'm lucky if I can be understood at all.
