It's a scientific fact that people who complain allot flush less toilets.
The rewards paid out are always 10% of the steem market cap, so the amount of rewards are not going down, just the voting power is more condensed, so instead of 40 votes for 20 cents each, it become 5 votes for $1.60 each... 40/5 = 8.. then 8x20 = 160
5 votes per day at 100%
10 votes at 50%
20 votes at 25%
25 votes at 20%
50 votes at 10%
100 votes at 5%

Why is your vote worth 8x more after the hardfork? Is that a new too?

I’m still not sure about this new system of voting rewards. If the value of the five votes goes up that much wouldn't people just make five simple comments each day and vote themselves up on them? It seems like the incentive to vote for others or to produce valuable content would go down as the ability to easily vote rewards for yourself goes up. I do see the value in trying different things, but many people are questioning this change.
yes, you are right, but there are those who simply prefer to vote for others rather than vote for them self, I am not that type of course. The benefit to people self voting is they will want increase their payment by having more steem power, this creates more demand for steem, and the price of steem goes up

Ah as always @craig-grant, you made my mind rumble. You always have a very deep thoughts of things around you. You're a great man.
After watching Craig's video, the first thought I has is that there needs to be some correlation between the comments and the authors choosing to vote for them. This would encourage them to engage in the conversation they started as well as reward only the people they want to. Commenters will have to read the content and contribute accordingly to get the coveted author upvote.
