The Steem Dream "Stabilization?"

So as of writing this SBD is at 8.44 Cad and Steem is at 7.41

So over this last week, I have noticed that the jumps on price fluctuations have more or less stabilized which is good if we want to finally be able to use this as a universal currency. As of right now, I think both Steem and SBD has a bit of room to go either up or down, based on numerous factors. But I feel that there is definitely more room for a bit more upside, I am biased. But I am not the only one with a bias right now...

This is a link to another big article in which just surfaced a few days ago, rating Steem in the top 5 Crypto Currencies, give it a read and if you like it give it an upvote. If for some reason that link doesn't work I have also Re-Steemed it because I really liked the read personally.

But I am getting a bit off track this is supposed to be a piece about stability and right now things are looking good. But who knows what the future holds. The biggest thing that will change stability of the platform right now is if for some reason they go through with an SBD peg. If they do that it will give a whole slew of current investors a lack of confidence in the platform. It will make some people leave the platform, and fewer people on the platform will be re-investing. In short I am avidly against an SBD peg, because I think it will ruin the platform and I am unsure if it will be able to recover after finally making so much ground. Being in the top five makes Steem a target, now it is our business to make sure it is a safe environment for future investors.

Steem has been having alot of usability, and am not suprised to for it's hype right now. Thinking

This could be the case, however I don't much about it. Will have to keep around for more of your updates.
Thanks for the post.

Yeah, I am just trying my best to keep up with the news, sometimes you don't hear everything and you miss it.

I believe Steem and EOS now share the highest Weiss ratings, Both B's.

It's important to remember that Steem and Steemit are separate entities. Steem doesn't need Steemit to be a success. A bit of a scary thought.

It isn't that scary, because if for some reason no one uses the platform, we can just power down.

It's scary for me because I like using this site!

If it is accepted, with or without the site, I think the Site will still be useful for creating more.

Oh yes, I really share all of your views because the syndrome of if not broken, don't fix comes to play here. Steem is definitely a big target

Do not fix what isn't broke, words to live by

@coriolanus, permit me to say that this is truly a wake up post. We need to really guard what we've got. Thanks

Protect it with your life, keep on reading, the Crypto wars is all about information.

Steemit is a proven top 10 currency, there is just too much funny money in junk coins right now. There are also plenty of other great projects that are getting good attention! Its all good man.
