There are more opportunities to earn crypto besides Steemit

I recently created a new page on my website, which lists a number of free ways to earn cryptocurrencies - Steem of course being one of them.

I will keep collecting and updating this list whenever I come across new opportunities. All the methods I have mentioned there are apps that I am using myself, or have at least tested.

Approach this with an investor's mindset

Most of the mentioned apps pay you in their own native crypto tokens, some of which aren't worth much at the moment. However, I highly recommend to approach this with an investor's mindset, and also compare it to your potential time investment.

We are still in a bear market, and most crypto fans believe things can sort of only go up from here - of course we can't know that for sure, and also we don't know when things will go up again.

Some apps are a no-brainer, because they take no time investment at all. You install them once, and then you just let them run.

You literally have nothing to lose (except maybe your personal data, so be very careful before you sign up to anything and see how many personal details you have to give away in return for "free". The more centralised a project is, the less "truly free" it is, because you're gonna have to "pay" with your personal details, which can be tracked.)

Other apps will require a little more time investment - Steem will probably require the most, if you think of all the engagement you have to do to build a followership, etc.

This is where your investor's mindset comes in: is it worth spending the necessary time for the rewards you will receive in return? Don't only consider the current rewards, but calculate how much the Steem you're earning now, might be worth in the near or far future.

Steem has been my favorite for the past two years - I love writing and connecting with others - but to you it might feel like a chore. It's a matter of preference and also a matter of whether you believe in a certain project or not.
