RE: Steem-Source-Switcher: automatically redirect steem-links to the frontend of your choice
Thank you for your contribution. It's a nice thoughtful project. But still what will happen to those dApps which do not follow the convention for ex, Musing, how do you support that?.
I think pushing .crx and .zip file to the github repository is not needed, because people can just clone the repo and try installing it.

The next update [ or perhaps the one after that ] will bring with it a robust and in-depth url parser. Every site & service I add will have it's own set of rules for urls, but using a smart-ish algorithm I should be able to break down the url into chunks and retrieve the most relevant information from it.
If, however, this proves to be unreliable. The fallback would be to basically completely ignore the url, and instead look within the page for the information. This would be more complex, but is definitely doable.
Yeah for sure, they can, and it's encouraged! But, I figured if you just wanna get up and running real quick, clicking a download button is somewhat more smooth. The .crx is in there simply because I packed the extension before uploading it.
I plan on actually launching this onto the extension stores [ for both Chrome & Firefox ] soon, and will remove the unnecessary files then.
Thanks for the review! :)
