BAD SIDE OF HF19...
Don't know everything about HF19, but I see what is going on. That should help minnows, on first look that is good. But what I see is minnows only upvoting their comments and not upvoting anything else. This will trigger people into only caring about money on Steemit, not content.
I'm minnow also, I'm glad that they took minnows from 0.01$ level, but this is too much. I recommend to take it down by 75% and that would be optimal level to not turn Steemit community in greedy monkeys only caring about money.
Is purpose of Steemit to connect with other people and read quality content or to just earn money?

Don't agree with you on this one. The daily reward pool of Steem has remained unchanged. So the same amount of rewards have been shared already on a daily basis since last year. Only now you see a little more of it while you are still a minnow. Therefore we are not automatically all money hungry people. Because to get those upvotes you still need to write high quality posts. The thing is, because the voting power goes down so quick the votes are spread between fewer posts. So you need to do even more your best to attract those few cents, and later dollars. I think it works pretty well indeed. Have fun out there and good luck with your future posts!
I hope you are right. I saw lot of people upvoting their comments, but not post on which they commented on. That is greed.
I don't agree that HF19 is BS. Overall I think it's been a very positive update, but it has brought out greedy and selfish behaviours in some of the users.
