More Faucet Talk

in #steem8 years ago

Wanted to take a minute to discuss my favorite faucet right now.  For a long time, I have been a big fan of the Moon faucets but I have found a Multi-Faucet that has taken Moon's place.  The multi-faucet Freebitcoin.win has supplanted the Moon Faucets as my new favorite in the faucet world.

Freebitcoin.win uses Faucethub.io as it's microwallet.  Great thing about Facuet Hub is that it has such a wide array of faucets, mining and other earning opportunities that are not available on the Coin Pot network that the Moon faucets run on.  When first discovered Free Bitcoin.win, it was having a hard time keeping balances on all the coins that they supported but have since corrected the issue and also improved payouts.  They have added multipliers based on country and the amount of pop-up ads that you enabled in their system to receive.  They currently support the coins: Bitcoin, Bitcore, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Etherium, and B3.  The only coin that is not yet supported by Faucet Hub is B3, but hopefully it will be coming soon to their system.

I will place one warning about this site, the pop-up ads can be a little on the explicit side, so don't use this faucet at work or around children, but if you can put up with those ads the pays off can exceed that of other faucets.  In just Bitcoin, I can claim around 200 satoshi an hour, I can accomplish similar results on the other coins that I claim, resulting in about 1000 satoshi an hour if I am really working for it.  I know, in the grand scheme of things, that is like $0.14 per hour, but those are free coins that can later be converted in to Steem or any other coin that we might want to get involved in.

Saying that, don't pass up on Moon Dogecoin, Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dash through Coin Pot.  You will need to sign up through Coin Pot first before starting to use these faucets.

If you are looking for a good at work faucet that won't throw up a ton of weird pop-ups or have mining script running in the background, I suggest Blackcoin Speed.  It uses the Faucet Hub network so you will have to have a Blackcoin address linked with them.

Just to be transparent, all links are referral links, so if you don't want to use them that is cool, just delete the referral information from the link and resubmit.

I've been using Moon, as well as a few others...
As BTC and dogecoin prices moved up, the number of coins is reduced.

I'm also using EOBOT to mine (one free faucet there daily)

Eobot is good but they have pretty high fees and you can no longer mine GHS in the United States.

You are becoming a faucet master. I would advise you start looking into faucets where you can claim other coins besides the typical major ones. I am doing my own research and have learned that XRB- Raiblocks first originated from faucet claims. This maybe an avenue worth exploring. Finding a coin that I can claim that is not well known yet and see where it will be later down the road. Thanks.

I want to start digging into the lesser know coins that are offered via faucets. I figure, getting in early on some of these could be interesting.

Faucets are great. I've been doing it for months. But the amount of coins spewed out is getting so little as the price of those coins increased. I started out being about to get quite a fair bit of dogecoins , but now it is so little. What little i mined, i use it to buy GHS on EOBOT

I'm exploring SmartCash now..

My power rating is only 25% so I cant vote (or rather it has no effect).. so I'm waiting for recovery
