STEEMIT vs. TSU.CO - does STEEM have big enough gusto to maintain 5 years from now?

in #steem7 years ago

For those of you who don't know, TSU.CO was a social platform that did exactly what Steem is trying to do as we move forward into the future.

TSU at one point had 5.2 million users. That's 5,200,000 people. Quite an accomplishment! What happened to them? Where did they go?

TSU had 533,000,000 page views.... looking at those numbers, it was about 10 pages of views per person... and then? POOF! Gonzo.

What are your plans to make sure STEEM gets "OVER THE HUMP" and can put companies like Facebook and Twitter and Reddit on blast?

Sort:

yeah.. working revenue models are critical to longevity let alone durability of the site.

You think STEEMIT has the longevity factor?

i had +100k followers on TSU , and that was only on my tsu.co/stresskiller account :D for me it's just another media to show my pictures , the money is a bonus,

100k followers? That's impressive. In your opinion, what was the downfall of TSU?

what i noticed in October / November 2015 was that more and more people starting to use scripts to sign up and generate accounts a specially from the asian region, i guess that cost a lot of bandwith and will bring down your advertising revenue really hard forcing them to shut down.

Hmmm.... that's interesting.... I can't stand garbage content that scripts send out.
