Sorry for no report yesterday, I'm still recovering from nasty stomach flu. We've got 2 days to go (the last day when investments will be accepted is 31.12.207) and taking the post rewards, the second goal - buying GeForce 1080 GPU - should be easily done (if needed I will just add missing funds in fiat). Updates:
This is a screenshot from an app called Awesome Miner - basically the best mining software on the market :) Lot's of options and things to tweak. The screenshot shows how my underclocked GF970 is doing now - $2.84 is kinda crazy for this card, probably because of the Zcash classic price pump that we have now. But it shows that Awesome Miner chooses most profitable coin to mine quite good.
Also the case I will be using for the rig is Zalman Z3 - I have one unused. I know I should be using open case and pcie risers but this one should be good enough with 2 GPUs - it has 4 fans and good airflow inside.

How does Awesome Miner work?
You can connect AM to multipools like https://miningpoolhub.com/ and then it automatically mines the most profitable coin.
But does it payout in one currency?
You can setup it - withdraw coins or auto-exchange coins for litecoin for example.
That's very exciting. Can you make a video when unwrapping the hardware and fumbling it together? I'm sure that would be fun to watch.
And a question: What does the system have in protection against hacking etc? Will it have more than a rudimentary OS for running the mining or do you plan to compile the system to make it fit 100%?
Rather just standard fierwall etc. Even if it got hacked, not much may be stolen as all mined coins will be immediately send to poloniex.
