It's important. So many comments are obviously just meant to get an upvote. I get them all the time.

I've actually thought about this. How comments should get more upvotes. Also about how people waste votes by saving them. GREAT post. :)
Ya i agree and always try even a small upvote to worthy comments. And then some times i wanna down vote comments

I save downvotes for spam / plagiarized posts. Like people who just copy Wikipedia articles and post them here. No one should get any credit or payment for that.
agree there was guy on here hell he may still be on here i can't remember his name but he just posted images of weed from google and had like 15 accounts to upvote it. i haven't seen him post in while so maybe he got flagged out
