My first author reward ever :)
I proudly present:
(drum-roll) My first 0.003 Steem Dollars in author rewards. :)
As Tiny as it may be, I am still super exited about it. Because guess how much I was ever rewarded for posting things about my life on Facebook. LOL
Out of the first 12 posts I made on Steem this was the first one to earn any rewards. Honestly I was pretty surprised about it since that post was essentially just something I wanted to blurt out and my other posts that I put some more effort into ended up with zero rewards. That's OK. That just shows that the network will reward what it finds useful and not reward something because you might have put a lot of work into it.
As long as we can make sure whales don't overpower the minnows I think Steem is a good wave to the future.

Thanks @snowflake I've seen you In a few comments and posts. Followed :) As I said. I've shared some of my most valued memories on facebook with no reward so seeing Steem in motion was pretty cool.
I know what you mean. It shouldn't take 35 posts to get your first reward though, that's just ridiculous. An then people wonder why user retention is poor lol followed back!
