Steem - Why is it worth anything?
A Different concept of valuation
"Anything can gain value. As long as a majority of people agree that it is viable, and exchange it into other goods or currencies."
But with steemit, there is another aspect that adds value. As content, and work is admitted into the steemit-platform,
the value will reflect in STEEM itself!
Many other coins have this concept, as GPU power, storage or other types of work is emitted into the coin.
But in steem, you can utilize yourself to gain income, and best of all:
...You can just be yourself.
but seriously though. Its a good concept.
I agree the concept of steem is great and i sincerely believe that it helps people be themselves. A lot of people are sharing personal experiences.
Yes! And it can help people show the world who they are. For instance if you paint, you can post up paintings. like "opheliafu" here. And people appreciate and comment it.
Great share @Bymma - There is something magical about the instant response to your work (even if it's just pennies).
I'm not sure there is any kind of market for the stuff I like, but here I get to share it anyway. :)

Interesting thread. I was about to post a similair thread. The future is in blockchain. The issues is that people don't seem to care about the Trustworthiness of the current cryptos. This also happened in the internet boom. I found this great website: https://www.coincheckup.com. I'm using this site that gives in depth reports on every tradable cryto in the market.
