Does this really make a difference?
I think it does. @burnpost has powered up 50K SP (some relatively small additional amount has been burned). A large portion of that has been done by selling SBD (helping to stabilize its value) and buying STEEM (helping to increase its value), and the SP is delegated to anti-abuse, which reduces the incentives to spam and similar forms of abuse. Overall, there are lots of benefits to the system.
