Is Anyone Interested in a San Diego STEEM Initiative? :)

San Diego is considered America's Finest City...what better place to start a STEEM initiative?

Straight off the bat, I admit that I'm extremely biased here: I'm a San Diego resident, and I absolutely love this place, despite all the crazy California laws.

However, I genuinely believe that San Diego has several ingredients that will make it not only a STEEM hub, but a cryptocurrency one as well.

Here are three key reasons:

San Diego is an Understated International Hub

While places like Los Angeles is considered one of the business capitals of the world, discerning people understand that San Diego is a burgeoning international hub for Global 500 businesses.

One of the reasons why is our proximity to Mexico. Several multinationals have warehouses and manufacturing plants in this country; thus, having a San Diego base simply makes logistical sense.

Also, in relation to STEEM and the cryptocurrency market, San Diego International Airport opened a direct route to Japan, a major partner in the blockchain!

Innovative Spirit

Did you know that a small business district in San Diego called Sorrento Valley is considered the mini-Silicon Valley of the biotech industry? (Not that I care for biotech, but the innovative spirit remains!)

Or were you aware that powerhouse semiconductor company Qualcomm calls San Diego home?

Or that GoPro CEO Nick Woodman studied at the University of California San Diego?

We truly have the spirit of innovation, which bodes well for a STEEM / Steemit / cryptocurrency initiative!

Big City, Small Town Feels

Unlike other big cities, we really don't have too many a--holes. Okay, we occasionally have the rowdy Marines that cause trouble, but typically, if you don't mess with 'em, they don't mess with you.

Inline with our innovative spirit, we have a community that is more open to ideas, and I think this is a great opportunity for STEEM and cryptocurrency initiatives!
