Mark Cuban to invest in Cryptocurrency?
It may come to a shock to many people that Mark Cuban is investing in Cryptocurrency. Most Americans have no idea what Cryptocurrency is and for the few that do Bitcoin and Ethereum might sound familiar. Superstar celebrity investor, Mark Cuban, has publicly expressed his skepticism of Bitcoin. Just last month he had called it a “bubble”, as a warning to all those bragging about all the money that they are making on Bitcoin. He quickly acknowledged that despite his lack of faith in Bitcoin, he does believe that blockchain technology will be at the core of most transactions in future.
Last week CNBC reported that Mark Cuban will take part in his first initial coin offering (ICO). Why is this important? ICOs are the future of venture capitalism and we are seeing more and more traditional investors make the shift over despite skepticism from their peers.
Status and Bancor are two examples of cryptocurrencies that fundraised money through an ICO in the month of June. Bancor managed to raised $150 million dollars within two hours and Status raised nearly $100 million dollars with its first 24 hours. Mark Cuban is planning on investing on a esport betting coin. The UnikoinGold token will formally be introduced to the crypto market in August with the start of their own ICO.
Cuban is a believer that there will be an accelerated growth in gambling and that the Seattle based e-sport betting platform, Unikrn is well positioned to maximize the market. He sees cryptocurrencies as the right form of fuel for online gambling. His support in Unikrn’s ICO opportunity has less to do with their e-sport market and more to do with their use of the blockchain.
He will put his money in the worst of the Crypto world at the moment. ICOs are mostly scams (not only the old ICOs for altcoins also this new Ethereum network ICOs) they do not sell a product just an idea that normally does not go anywhere else, stay as an idea the complete time ;)
And funny he is seeing all this "good" future now and is not making it public like when he told one month ago that he did not believe in BTC or crypto in general. Why he do not speak to all this " Americans who have no idea what Cryptocurrency is"? I really think this man is not good for the crypto world (even if he have the same name as my country "Cuba" ;) )

I do agree with you and that's why I think it's important to always be informed personally to know what you're actually investing in.
