Millionaires Will Be Minted By Just Teaching Steemit To New Users (Proof Inside and Discussion on The Problems of Teaching Bitcoin)

in #steem8 years ago

People are making full time livings off just teaching YouTubers, eBayers, and Amazon Sellers how to make money on those platforms.  One of the main problems with Bitcoin was there is really no incentive to keep teaching new users about it.  Some could say that the reason people were talking about Bitcoin so much was so more people would buy into it therefore making the price go up and then their investment would also go up.  There is a big reason why I don't think this is individually impactful as it relates to Bitcoin.  Usually people's initial buy in points were low.  A few hundred dollars which wasn't going to move the market.

1) People get real chatty about investments that are going up and doing good.  You see this in the stock market and we have seen it with Bitcoin.  When the price was getting hammered people didn't want to talk about it and almost felt embarrassed because then the Troll Naysayers will be like "I told you Bitcoin was a Ponzi Scheme."  At that point after Bitcoin fell from $1,100+ to $176 in January 2015 we had no energy to explain why Bitcoin isn't a Ponzi Scheme and site examples.

2) While teaching Bitcoin to new users at your local Bitcoin meetup has been very helpful it in a lot of ways becomes exhausting because you can't make a living off of that.  Now there are a few people in the world that could possibly make enough off of speaking engagements / consulting in the Bitcoin space that could be considered full time teachers.  Andreas Antonopoulos and Roger Ver to name a few.  But there are way more teachers teaching people about YouTube and earning a living off of it then there are people earning a living off of teaching Bitcoin.

3) When I was teaching a lot of people about Bitcoin I used to do what Andreas Antonopoulos does and have people download a mobile wallet and I would transfer a little bit to them.  The problem with this that I found was they didn't really associate it with money.  If I would give them a $20 they wouldn't just throw it away.  They would keep it in their wallet and spend it.  When you give someone like that Bitcoin, they might think it is cool that this supposed value shows up on their phone but then they rarely go out of their way to figure out a way to spend it.

The monetary incentive for Steemit is so strong right now that in a lot of ways people don't need to know all the pieces to the puzzle.

They just jump in and start creating content and then they will feel their way through the process of cashing out and all that.  With Bitcoin it is like pulling teeth to get people to commit.  It unfortunately is like trying to pitch someone on joining some Multi-Level Marketing Pyramid scheme.  People are weary about Bitcoin but I have had a lot of people almost feel like it isn't something they want to wait around for to maybe go up.....etc.  The computer nerd crowd is a little easier to convince but that isn't enough for it to go viral in my opinion.  If the world economy crashes and fiat becomes worthless then the incentive becomes potentially greater for people to buy into Bitcoin.

With Steemit you have no monetary risk to get started earning money!

This is such a huge deal in this system going viral.  I personally started with $0 invested and cashed out $200 to basically go through the process and really prove that a person could make money on this platform without "Buying In."

To me that was super important for me to be convinced that this system could work and that people would join this in the masses.  So now that we have seen it work and know it is basically the best way to make money online right now with no initial investment we have to think about the learning process we went through to get to this point.

My Learning Curve.

Things I already knew.

  • I already know quite a bit about Bitcoin and alt coins.
  • I did a lot of cpu / gpu mining.
  • I'm and Internet Marketer who earns money in affiliate programs and Ad Revenue from Google / YouTube.
  • I already had accounts on Coinbase, Poloniex, Bittrex...etc.
  • I know how to develop websites.

My time of realizing this was SUPER LEGIT

Pretty much two days of research starting from never hearing of Steem or Steemit to being like FUCK YEAH BABY!

Other People's Learning Curve

  • They don't get paralysis by analysis.
  • They don't look at most social media sites the same way I do.
  • They see people making money and say "OK, Let me introduce myself and talk about how I was beat as a child and was on drugs for awhile and tell everyone how I scrape maggots out of dumpsters for a living."

The time it takes them to realize this is SUPER LEGIT

Pretty much 20 Minutes when everyone upvotes them!

What Makes Me The Same As Them?

Despite everything I knew about #crypto I still needed to learn from other people on this platform who were on here 2 weeks or 4 weeks before me.  They were teaching me things and writing detailed explanations on how to most efficiently go about thing.  And guess what...... They made money doing so!

With a constant inflow of new people those new users have to be taught how the system works.

As changes are made to the system people have to be updated on how things work now.  We see this with YouTube.  People have very large channels dedicated to teaching other people how to use YouTube.

Just do a search for "How to make money on YouTube."

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=how+to+make+money+on+youtube

You get infinite results with videos that have gotten millions of views.  A lot of these channels have large followings and a substantial subscriber base.

Same thing with "How to Sell on Amazon"

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=how+to+make+money+on+amazon

Those teachers are typically making $1 / 1000 views.  It isn't bad considering a person can start up a YouTube channel for no money and eventually getting payouts.  It is tough for YouTubers to be profitable though.  I have a couple of YouTube Channels that do decent and the majority of the money isn't from the Ad Revenue.  It is from Affiliate commissions.

But the Payout from Steemit / Views just blows other money making ventures out of the water.

Here is what I have felt is my best teaching post so far.

I tried to show my experience of how Steem Dollars were going for more than $1.

Summary

An entire economy will form around teaching and consulting new to advanced users how to use Steemit for big bucks!  Some of these teachers will for sure reach whale status!

Steemit is the best kept secret on the Internet right now.  It is like an all out VIP Party!

Great post brianphobos. This is going to be big. You have a lot of good post and seem to have a handle on this. I hope a lot more people keep coming and growing the community. Great job and good luck!

Thanks @peacekeeper I am unbelievably excited about this system. It is unbelievable. As you can see from the screenshot. I'm making money other places online. They are all a joke compared to this system.

great post! keep em coming

Excellent brian
Keep up the good work
Full Steem ahead
😊👍👍👍👍

Thank you @bullionstackers Full Steem ahead is right!

Thanks for sharing the insight Brian

Ive been a member for a few days now i haven't posted due to not having a clue and didn't want to post something straight off without looking into this more. There's so much information top take in I'm still a little lost what it all means but reading these posts do help thank you

It is a lot to take in and it seems too good to be true in a lot of ways but my suggestion would be to post an introducing yourself post and make sure you print out the steem logo or something to that effect to prove you are real and just talk about yourself and what you are into. If it does well you can figure out the additional details of how to get the money out or how to power up and all that at a later time.

I'm not even thinking about the money part as yet there's so much other stuff to understand. I am going to write an introduction soom but want to do it right. Thxs again

I love this post. It makes me feel thankful to have been invited to this VIP party!

It will change the way we live. Thanks steem
