"Steem Rebound. Has The Turbulence Finally Ended?" Join Me For My Late Night Video Blog
While I was eating my coconut ice cream the other night, it seemed like there was a lot of despair about Steem's price being under one USD. I'll admit that I wish it could have been higher, but I tried to see it as an opportunity for those who wanted, to seize the opportunity to power up more, if at all possible.
I didn't feel like there was a time for panic or distress because the fundamentals of Steem, from my point of view, didn't seem to be in question. It was clear, from my perspective, that the low prices were in direct correlation with the issues facing Bitcoin. I can't predict the future of Steem or any other cryptocurrency for that matter. But personally, I think there is a strong potential for much better days ahead! :)
At least at this point, Bitcoin seems to have resolved those issues inasmuch as they have to a general consensus on where they stand with Segwit and with moving forward on the scalability problem. Just the positive news alone caused the cryptocurrency markets to rocket to the upside, as hopeful sentiments appeared to be back after a long stretch of discouragement. I'm not here to say that everything is going to be wonderful and without any more bumps in the road. Of course, there is always that chance we could test the lows again, but I feel that like that is unlikely event that would occur.
It took several hours for a Bitcoin transaction of mine to finally get confirmed today....Like 9 or 10 hours! That's the reason why Bitcoin, from what I can see, has taken such a dip lately...... Because people are ready to see their transactions of BTC move much for quickly across the blockchain. If what they say is correct, we should see Bitcoin improve in performance in the coming weeks ahead. Time will tell but at least things seem to be looking a little bit brighter for now!

I can totally relate, my friend! I would love nothing more than to accumulate even more and power it up. But I'm thankful for what I have at this point. Best of luck and hope it all works out! :)
Thanks again for your comment! @thelifeofbrian
The storm seems to be subsiding - at least this one. There is certainly no lack of excitement in the cryptospace.
Yes , nice to see things chill for a bit! :) Good to hear your feedback! @lydon.sipe

Keep the good work
Much appreciated, my good friend! Thanks again for your nice words! @lordoftruth :)
There's always going to be turbulence. Contrast exists to help define the highs and lows. Surf the waves homey.
You got that right, my friend! :) That's a great way of looking at it! I agree!
Have a good night!
@clayboyn
Great post, thanks for sharing
I appreciate your saying that and thank you! Just followed you! @akomoajong
no not really, one more crash waiting.
If it happens, I'll hang on for the ride. I think the key is to look at the big picture unless you're day trading. That of course, would change the dynamic considerably. Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Have a good night! :)
Confidence on BTC not splitting is quite high now. Hoping for a rally to continue.
I hope the rally continues, too! Thanks for sharing! @cryptopie
Just followed.
I hope so. Imagine a person in a store like Macy's buying a pair of jeans with a visa or mastercard and having to go home without the pants because their credit card or debit card couldn't finalize the transaction. How outraged would people get? That's bitcoin for ya.
What falls down must get back up. Unless it's the life alert lady from the 80's. Or you're this guy
