Development is always a funny thing. When you think you have everything
covered, have all code aligned and you are confident enough that you are
ready to release a first version, poo-flinging monkeys take aim, making
shit hit the proverbial fan. Or in other words, programming for a
blockchain is a little harder than one would think.

So if you are wondering why there has not been an update after the
initial announcement, this is why.

Update

But we would not be writing this without good cause and some news.

The other 3 members of Blockbrothers have been provided by DevBrother @bennierex with a
pre-pre-alpha release of what we're trying to make.

So, where do we stand:

@bennierex had been coding his fingers to nubs, doing all the coding
himself and learning to communicate with the blockchain. It's new to him
and in between jobs and family, we have been getting updates from him as
late as 2 am. What a star!

@eqko has been designing app icons & logos.
They are finished and working in the pre-alpha already.

@s3rg3 has been thinking long and hard about features.

@exyle has been preparing to take our baby on the road to steemfest. Be sure to hit him up for a sneakpeak of what's cooking.

Promise

Now we know that's a lot of words saying a whole bunch of nothing. But
we promise to have the announcement ready somewhere this week. Because
even while we can't hit a closed beta yet, we sure as caramel candy let
all of you in on what we have up our sleeves.
