Converting SBD vs trading on internal market [Learn from my choices]
As I learned the steemit platform I figured to try both methods of converting SBD to steem. So my first method to try, which was about 4 days ago, was the 'convert to steem' option that has the 3.5 day delay. However; the price did not spike til after the withdraw request. No problem, I figured. This was just testing the waters anyways. We'll see when it converts how I feel.
During those 3 days I was able to convert at least 2 full SBD to STEEM via the internal market which made for some pretty decent profit for just getting my feet wet.
Then I notice the conversion went through, and I instantly realize I will probably never do the 3.5 day convert option again, and the explanation takes 2 screenshots:
So in conclusion, internal market FTW and obviously it's all about timing but no to the convert option. No!
Which leads me to wonder if my 1.9 SBD for 1.127 STEEM which happened today had any affect on the price spiking down, as well as other 3.5 day requests that 'finally got filled'.
The end
