Why we like Steem Coin
Steemit is a new social media platform where everyone gets paid to post online. Powered by blockchain technology, it was founded in 2016 by Ned Scott and Danniel Larimer and has 11th largest market capitalisation of all cryptocurrencies.
steemUsers are rewarded in cryptocurrency (STEEM Power and STEEM dollars, which can be exhanged for US dollars). STEEM is used to reward users who upload articles, images and now videos to the network. Other ways users can get paid is through “up-voting” popular content. The earlier a person up-votes a post that becomes popular, the more is the reward.
STEEM is currently trading at around $0.95 USD, with a market capitalisation of $240,000,000. There are around 240 million coins in circulation.
The site is still in beta and lacks some functionality of other sites, but it is simple to use and more features are being added all the time. The steeming community is growing rapidly – you can watch in real time as articles are added and the speed new content arrives is impressive.
It remains to be seen if Steemit can attract users from Facebook, YouTube and blogging sites, but we think it has potential. The more users it gains, the more the currency could be worth. We will be investing in STEEM and hoping it’s full STEEM ahead.

Fine post. I was about to post a similair post. The popularity of the cryptos is currently determined by the biggest group of uneducated investors in man kind. It's an interesting world we live in. I really advice people to take a look at: https://www.coincheckup.com This site is really helpful in my coin research. I don't know any other sites with so much indepth analysis. See: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Steem#analysis For a complete Steem Detailed analysis.
