Anything that will show the market that Steem is trying to cut down on the amount of liquid Steem out there is a positive in my mind. It should help the price of Steem and lend more credibility to the Steemit site. There is a big inflationary boogeyman in the room that people do not like to talk about, but what you theorize above takes some air out of the inflationary specter's sails.
