METHODOLOGY AND INSTRUMENTS OR TELEMETRY EQUIPMENT👩🔬
HELLO, I know I have been a little absent from the platform but I have not had a good morning.!!
Today I want to announce that I am currently working in a specific area that contains my study career. This area is called TELEMETRY, here I can monitor frequently on the oxygen saturation and heart rate (that is, through a screen I can see their electrocardiogram) that a patient has.
This system works wirelessly by means of equipment with 5 cables of different colors (white, green, brown, black and red) each cable represents a zone and sees different faces of the heart showing it on an electrocardiogram.
- This device works with AA batteries, it is placed through electrodes that are placed on the patient's chest as follows:
This is the device that is used for telemetry. It should be noted that the white color should be placed on the right side of the chest, between the 4th and 5th rib.
- The green color is almost aligned with the white color but it should be placed more in the center.
- The brown color should be placed at the end of the sternum.
- The black color should be placed at the beginning of the sternum.
- The red color goes on the left side.
"It should be noted that everything depends on the patient's body index, some areas vary, but that does not change the side if it is right it is right and if it is left it is left."
When we connect the patient, we can see everything already mentioned on these screens:
- It is a special program, where we induct patient data such as: name, surname, location, and room number.
