I bought my First ETH from Steem proceeds.. stupid move?

in #steem7 years ago

Hello all my crypto friends,

On my journey through steem I learned more about BTC, and it's many offshoots. This community taught me about exchanges, how to cash out, and most of all to cash in. It's no secret that my blog is like a good television show. Sometimes I post a killer blog; and MOST of the time it's kinda bland.

This blog post is just a quick thank you to THIS community. I am powering down, in order to power up. I have had mixed results on my journey on Bittrex.

Today I made some really good coin on KOMODO (KMD), dumped my Digibyte (DGB), and sold off all of my NEO. All for one single ETH lol. I think I'll just leave it there for now. When the time comes, I will more than likely convert it all back to STEEM. I have had about %15 gains in total. I cringe when the BTC price goes up, because those ALTCOINS mostly go down.

In any case, I'll HODL the one ETH coin I have. Maybe one day I'll HODL a BTC!

Thanks for your attention and Gd bless!

PS I'm still holding a little KOMODO, supposed to be big news tomorrow!

Bitcoin is better for the long term. I am commenting here mostly because I am interested in your name. is the "613" a reference to the 613 commandments?
Thanks
BUY AND HOLD BTC!

No worries mate, dump that 1 ETH into 20k Lancer today @ blocklancer.net

No it is a current ICO, You'll get ER-20 Tokens and be part owner of the site as far as collecting fee's paid. They aim to replace sites like fiver, allowing more artist to do work and also keep people from automatically down voting artist to give people bad reps. As an artist and owner of a printing company, I don't see the true value of most new ICO's but I feel strongly about this one as it is something to do with my passion and line of work. I'm by no means a big crypto guru or advisor, I just see the value of this company and as it is day one of the ICO it's truly the bottom entry level. Good luck either way you go.

I appreciate the in depth reply. I think I'll stay out of ICOs. Just too many these days. Thanks for your input thought

Agreed, I rode the ETH wave early on and am unsure of it's future to be honest. I am slowly moving into Neo, EOS and OMG. It's really all a guessing game and I steer clear of anyone saying anything is 100% sure down the road. Best of luck to you and every common man trying to flip their way to 6 figures.

By reading this it looks like your into making short gains quickly. Go long with your 1 as it has potential to be huge, and make sure to buy more! I resteemed an article the other day on what it has in store. Worth checking out.
Followed you!

yes only started with couple hundred and have been able to double. Charts seem easy to read at this point, aside from the odd pump and dump.

How can you say it is easy to read at this stage? There is high volatility across all crypto's so surely its based on pure speculation? Being able to double in a short space of time, which is fantastic, but you have to be careful at the same time. But back to my earlier point. Ethereum is one to hold on too!

ETH gives you a lot of options to trade into various ICOs. Just wait, read and learn. The time to put that single ETH to use will come naturally.

You got this homie!

wise decision dear friend @ bearbear613, congratulations on your acquisition
Have a great day
