100% power up? Or 50:50 payout?

Things change, things are fluid and dynamic.

Just a few months ago SBD (Steem backed dollar) was almost 11:1 compared to STEEM. Today STEEM according to the internal market on steemit is now worth more than SBD. I usually swap SBD for Steem but today, it’s not such a good idea.

Bittrex exchange has SBD still worth more than STEEM. So the indicators are still close but there are discrepancies. At this point I wouldn’t power up 100%, but if steem continues to rise in value, that’s when it’s time to go 100%. Let’s keep watching this fluid market.

Sort:

Personally, I would never power up 100%. If SBD is worth more than $1 then I sell it for more than it is worth (the amount of SBD you receive is assuming it is worth $1). If it is below $1, then you can transfer it to savings and get a hefty interest rate.

Although, I suppose if SBD were clinging to $1 as closely and reliably as Tether does then I would probably go for the 100% Power Up as there is no real benefit to having SBD.

steem dollar is realy power of dollar
