SBD vs STEEM. How to get more value?

I want to post about how to use Steemit payouts efficiently as I see still many don't understand when is better to get paid with SBD and when is better to get STEEM POWER as your author rewards.
I say author rewards, because all curation rewards are awarded in STEEM which directly go to your Steem Power.
But....
As for author rewards, you can choose to get them as all STEEM which is same as 100% powered up post payments or choose 50/50 payment plan which will give you half of your rewards in SBD (Steem Backed Dollars) and half in STEEM.

Now why is that so important?

As of today 1 STEEM value is almost 6 times less than the value of SBD.

I made this snapshot just before I started to write this post

As long as SBD was made to be the equivalent or at least almost the same value as USD, in another words it is pegged to USD, we get exactly 50% of our author reward as SBD if the payout plan is set to 50/50.
Since SBD now is about 6 times more than Steem and in terms of USD its value is around $10, we get 6 times 50% more value with 50/50 plan than when we use 100% powered post.
Yes you got it right! 6X50%=3. Three times more in total earnings.

What can you do and should do after you get 50% of your rewards:

1. First of all, you can keep SBD but you never know for how long it will stay at that high level.
2. You can convert them to STEEM but........NOT WITH DIRECT CONVERSION from your wallet! Go to blocktrades to do that transaction otherwise you will not get your 6 times more value. Remember this latter advise.
3. You can also convert SBD to other Crypto-currency using blocktrades.us
