STEEM is doing actually really well, when you consider 99% of the market is running at a LOSS in the RED and that about ~95% of the market is actually in BIG DOUBLE DIGIT LOSSES now over the last ~72 hours.
The $STEEM currency is performing better than the market average in a bad time!

The markets have been bleeding RED for a lot of the last 30 days! Some days worse than others.
STEEM is down but I think because the currency is backed by US -- the people and community / content, which are the product or backing so to speak, we are doing OK!

Steem is down 15%.
On a day like today, would you not take remaining in the Top 20 coins sorted by highest gains -- in a bloodbath????

The gold line there is the price relative to the Bitcoin price and has flattened out a bit, unlike the other lines you see.

Best I can determine, STEEM's all-time high was $8.07 in USDT terms. Right now it's about $3.28.
But STEEM has held up quite well in satoshi terms. Take a look at the orange line on the 3-month chart:
In Bitcoin terms, as shown by the line in orange, STEEM has crept up a bit.
I am glad you pointed this out again with the chart and different language.... that is what I was showing and trying to convey at the end of the post too, knowing most people would miss it or maybe not understand this pairing charting / language.
