friendship heartbreak

I know what it’s like to have those friends
who only seem to stay until the day ends.
and when the night comes and the cold settles in,
daydreams end and assumptions begin.
assumptions of your life from their own perspective
being spread around in every direction
except to you – whom they claim to care about,
yet when creating their loop, they left you out.
you think that they’re judging you and it’s hard to trust
when it come to matters of love and lust.
but ignore these thoughts before you sink,
because it does not matter what people think.
