So, I was doing my rounds on the web and came across someone asking questions about a Steem post's rewards on a Reddit thread. I decided to check it out.

I went through all sorts of feels after reading a few.

Here's a sample for you...

I guess I've been doing Steem all wrong. I need to learn how I can make rewards like @rabeelmanzoor. Maybe I just need to say screw it and start using bid bots just like everybody else.

Note: After further investigation, I've noticed this Bittrex memo linked to multiple accounts that are powering down.

This is likely a coordinating scamming network using bid bots to execute. @smartsteem, @buildawhale, @postpromoter and others. Please, take note.

I may laugh at how terrible the content but I'm not laughing at people using bid bots to game the system.

I tested bots for the first few weeks but noticed my account was just stagnant and not really doing anything.. I have pretty much stopped using them and notied my account starting to grow.

I think there is a place for them but they are being overused by people who just write junk and then use bots. Its very frustrating because there is so much good quality content on here that isnt being appreciated while rubbish gets through
