BTCC Poll Update

If you haven't seen any of my other posts on this topic, the CEO of the Crypto Exchange BTCC put out a poll on Twitter asking what token they should support next. We went from 3rd place in our "bracket" to 1st, but we still need another 1,000 votes to take out the king in the primary race: Ethereum.

Does This Matter?

Not really. For me it's not about getting listed on another exchange (though that would be nice), it's about the Steem Community proclaiming our existence to the world. We are now blowing our competitors out of the water on these polls. Ethereum has only 28% of the votes in its group ... we have 41% and growing. I bet we've at least raised Bobby Lee's eyebrows. We can never know who is watching what out there.

All I do know is that we have the most promising technology, we have great apps like @Busy and obviously steemit.com up-and-running, as well as more great apps like @zappl and @steepshot in the pipeline, and our token has plenty of unique characteristics which make it deserving of mention along with any other crypto out there, and YES that includes bitcoin. I think we should take every opportunity to blow people's minds with what we're capable of because we can work together as a community.

That's what this is about for me, so let's send this rocket into the stratosphere starting with this Twitter poll!
