españolMany years ago, a newlywed young man was sitting on a sofa on a hot, humid day, drinking iced juice during a visit to his father.
While talking about life, marriage, responsibilities and obligations of adults, the father thoughtfully stirred the ice cubes of his glass and cast a clear and sober look at his son.
"Never forget your friends," he advised, "they will be more important as you get older."
"Regardless of how much you love your family and the children that you are going to have, you will always need friends, remember to occasionally go out with them, do activities with them, phone them ..."
"What strange advice!" Thought the young man. "I just entered the world of married people, I am an adult and surely my wife and the family that we will start will be all that I need to make sense of my life."
All in all, he obeyed his father; He maintained contact with his friends and annually increased their number. With the passing of the years, he was understanding that his father knew what he was talking about.
To the extent that time and nature realize their designs and mysteries in a man, the friends were bastions of his life.
After 50 years of life, here is what he learned:

The distance separates✈
Children grow.👶
Children stop being children and become independent. And the parents' heart breaks but the children separate from the parents.👪
Jobs come and go.
Illusions, desires, attraction, sex ... are weakened.💏
People do not do what they should do.
The heart is broken.💔
Parents die.😿
Colleagues forget favors.💨
The races finish.
But true friends are always there, no matter how long or how many kilometers they are.
A friend is never more distant than the reach of a need, making a bar for you, intervening in your favor, waiting for you with open arms or blessing your life.
When we started this adventure called VIDA, we did not know about the incredible joys or sorrows that were before us. We did not know how much we would need each other. Love your parents, take care of your children but keep a group of good friends. Talk with them but do not impose your criteria.
