Pointless tips on Steemit

Recently I decided to analyze steemit's successful and em...not too many lucky profiles. The aim was to find out why the first ones are popular and upvoted and the second ones always stay in shadow.

Let's skip some factors which we can not influence at the moment (having friends among wales, working in a team etc) and pay attention to what is directly depends on us, therefore we can change it without putting additional efforts except our brain))

In business we have a golden rule - define your main niche and be as good in it as possible, providing best service to your customers. Just imagine that you need to choose a massage therapist to alleviate the pain in your back.

Whom will you go to - to a massage specialist with years of successful practice or a masseur who also works as a hairdresser and does waxing?

Plenty of times I have read about the same here in steemit and every time I thought that they wrote it only to give some pointless tips hiding the truth with I wanted to find.
However, in fact, I was wrong.

"There is a distinct difference between posts of somebody struggling to come up with ideas to get rich and somebody who has been inspired to teach or engage in the community with original ideas. The most successful authors are those who are both driven by reward, and passionate and consistent with their work. The goal should be to create a document that you are proud of".@steemstem in " Being A Member Of The SteemSTEM Community"

As the table shows choosing 1 niche doesn't guarantee 100% success but it significantly increases the chance of being noticed!

Just admit it frankly that if you are a fan of history would you prefer to read another article of Middle ages from a professor of history or an article with the same topic from a user who writes on a variety of subjects?

Several months after my own analysis I continued to be stubborn as a badger writing on different topics. You can easily check my poor results of this demeanor.
A week or more ago I faced with an amazing article Where do I start?! An AWESOME guide to get you started of @zord189 where he just made me finally understand the simplest and important thing:

Maybe you are just like me and have a variety of interests, a lot of important things to say or mood swings and feel difficulty with niche definition.

But try to be critical of yourself. If you make a lot of effort, and there is no impact, changes are needed. After all, as Einstein said, " Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results".

Welcome my niche on Steemit :)

Puff, for my special niche I was searching quite a long time because my main feature is burnout in everything I like to do or some topics are so popular that there is a high probability of getting lost among more experienced authors and being blown away.
But a couple of days ago I looked through my notebooks and found there lists of books that I read for 2017, quotes and exercises written out of them, reading plans for the next year. Oh, so this is exactly what I need!

So, my topic on Stimit will be about BOOKs, oh, but not about everything!

I like books about self-development, about researching the brain as the most complex structure on our planet, about changing habits, searching for and overcoming fear, helping to understand and accepting oneself, to be on the same wavelength with the world and to afford to dream about more.

I'm not going to write about my impressions and give some recommendations what to read but will post about the most impressive moments and exercises from these books and share my experience practicing tips from them.
As Brett Blumenthal says in her famous book,

"Only 1 new habit a week will give you 52 new habits at the end of the year which will transform you into a new person!"

So, why not to try something new exactly at the beginning of the year?
So, everyone who likes to read you are welcome to follow me updated, criticize, comment on and enter into discussions.
And once again,

Wish you all the best and changes for good in your life!

Don't get fooled by all those profiles having so called success. Some of them are not successful at all and just posting plain or very simple and useless content and just circular upvoting/exchanging upvotes/whales voting themselves in order to gain visibility and popularity. I once followed some guys who were doing this and at first I didn't even realised why they were having success. But after learning much more about Steem I have understood their little games and unfollowed them. I can say that I stopped looking for success or money here, I am just interacting with people and socializing. Not taking any money from here, but just enjoying the ride. I hope you will find success here, if this is what you are looking for, I just wanted to make you aware of the games that some of these guys are making :)

Thank you for your warning @mejustandrew. I completely agree here is not so easy and there is no magic recipe. Some people post just 3 words and a photo and get a lot of upvotes. It's clear this scheme works for special ones) However, if you are minnow and your posts always lost in the flow of others (nobody read them) it do will be pointless to write them even for socializing...I wish I could have here friend or support but even my friends from real life are too lazy or whatelse to register here. So investigating how all here works is also a part of communication for me here. By the way, even if choosing a niche will not be a perfect solucion for me I really enjoyed writting this article and sure will be glad to write abt books which finally makes me to try some tips))) Double goal))

I am glad I can be helpful! Well, in my case, I am socializing by posting comments to other people posts, just as I have done here :) I am expressing my sincere opinions and I am trying to help the others when I can. It makes me happy that I see other people do better because of my little help. The upvotes, if I receive any, is just a little additional reward. I am sure you will find success if you keep posting one time a day at least :)

This post has received gratitude of 0.35 % from @appreciator thanks to: @anamarena.

I think even with niche things don't magically change. People have to properly respond to that niche. :)

nonono, no madically changes only with one thing. Otherway, all people here would do the same)))

I think if we write about things we truly like, we can be successful. Good luck with the topic you have chosen! 😊

Very good post!!
