Probably the leader didn't think for a second if he should downvote. This shows that you don't have to research whether these votes come from yourself or are used by REAL supporters of the cause as a DONATION.
I find that a deeply destructive behavior and outside of any "moral" boundaries. I am not annoyed that we have been voted down. Because that is the right of everyone, I am annoyed by the kind how that happened!!
A Downvotetrail with such a size and power to lead behind it under these conditions expels a lot of people. Since we have enough of it here, this is of course no problem. The question why then so many smaller ones should try to get new users on the chain is a question.

Don't get distracted from your goals ;) Bid bots are dead and I know that you begin to understand that something needed to be done for saving Steem in the long run.
Your commentcoin project is great and that is what counts. I know it takes a while until one realizes the deepness and what really counts here. Many people here try to convince us from the opposite, but trust me, Steem's image today would have been way better without those bots.
Now it needs to be cured in kind of a poisonous way, but there is no better one for waking people up. Time for real curation is here again and people who still use bid bots are just feeding the old Steem devils. We are no devils who enjoy to eat ourselves. We want this place to succeed finally.
Focus is always the key, so focus on good things and they will grow. Feed the drama and it will grow. I know that you know this already, but I just wanted to remind you of what is really important.

Wegen den Bot Upvotes wahrscheinlich (Steemium). Haben aber soweit ich es sehe keine Rewards außer den bot upvotes weggeflagged.

Die Bots Upvotes muss aber jemand beauftragt haben. Derjenige wird dafür bezahlt haben und somit Leidtragender der Downvotes sein, weil er andere unterstützt hat. Das ist weder Selbstvoting, noch ist es verwerflich, anderen Hilfe zukommen zu lassen. So ging es der Steemillu und auch anderen auch schon in letzter Zeit.
Ich finde das sehr witzig von einem Dienst, der selbst vorher solche Votes verkauft hat, wenn mich nicht alles irrt.
Das ist richtig. Aber wie sagen die Leute? "Besser spät als nie".
Wer auch immer die Upvotes gekauft hat ist in der Tat der Leidtragende der Flags. Das Ziel der Leute, die geflaggt haben, ist wohl eine Art "Angst" vor'm Vote Kaufen (egal ob für sich oder für jemand anderen) zu erzeugen und so indirekt diese Bots zu bekämpfen.

Das geht hier aber jetzt nicht um den Post, den ICH für gut befunden habe und dem von außen (keine Ahnung, wer) ein Booster geschenkt wurde, oder?!
Alu, das war pure Ironie. Es geht darum, um genau den Post. Weiß nicht, ob jeder die Ironie versteht, ich will damit nur betoen, wie schäbig diese blinde Downvoterei ist. Es trifft nämlich nicht nur die Geflaggten, sonndern auch die, die wegen einer anderen (befürwortenden - auweia) Meinung nun mal gevotet haben...

Deswegen auch der Smiley, der ist für die ganzen Follower gedacht. Dieser Flaggzug von OCB, ist äußerst fragwürdig, zumindest was seine "Bediener" angeht. Aber mal sehen ob sich jemand meldet. Ich glaube ja nicht. :-) Sind doch nur kleine User.
Etwas Recherche woher der Vote kommt, könnte man schon verlangen. Gerade bei so einer gewaltigen Votepower. Seltsam nur das manche andere Posts, die sagen wir "bekanntere" Namen tragen, scheinbar selten geflaggt werden, von solchem Ausmaß(in Prozent gesehen). Das ist halt typisch und zeigt gut, wie man sich da oben verhält.

Begründung ist meistens die gleiche, der Reward-Pool soll geschont werden. Na ja, vielleicht sollten diese Herren sich mal selbst dran halten. Gehen mir schon länger auf die Nüsse, von daher willkommen im Club.
Diese DV-Orgie scheint mir ein Trail zu sein, blind vergeben. Denn sie wissen nicht was sie tun, hat schon vor geraumer Zeit ein weiser Mann gesagt.
Wie ich sehe, nimmst du es mit Humor, wohl das Beste was man tun kann. Was nicht heißt, auch auf den Busch zu klopfen ;-)

Warum man nicht direkt spenden kann und dafür einen Bot benutzt.
Ist doch logisch, dass man vielleicht möchte, das der Post besser gesehen werden kann, weil wir noch ein kleines Projekt sind. Ich finde es nicht verwerflich, angesichts der Monetisierung auch entsprechend zu unterstützen. Mir ist das sogar lieb so, wenn ich es mal sagen darf. Freilich freut uns eine direkte Spende auch, aber sie ist weit aus nicht so effektiv, als würde man uns helfen besser gesehen zu werden.
Ich denke die Sache als zu erwartend und mit Lässigkeit hinzunehmen, ist der richtige Weg. Ich habe mir schon öfter Gedanken gemacht, ob und wieso wir Downgevotet werden könnten. Dieses Szenario allerdings war nicht dabei. Fast schon Schade darum. :-)

@acidyo is a bit of a hero in my eyes for doing all he has done to get rid of bidbots and promote manual curating. From what I understand the cc project was not downvoted, only a purchase that was made to promote your post? I can understand that happening. The title of your post is a bit misleading if that is the case.
My opinion is that it would be best to let go of this and move forward with your worthy and exciting project.
I don't make a difference if and why downvoted how much. Downvoting is downvoting. You also have to think about the people who don't have so much knowledge about the blockchain and just see that it was downvoted. I wanted to draw attention to the followers of the trail by post. A reader sees only that it hailed Downvotes, without a word in addition. That makes a bad picture on the project and I won't let that happen without following.
