Bots keep flagging my own work as plagiarism. How to make this stop?
It costs me upvotes from people who see the bot's post and don't realize it's a false positive.
I am Alex Beyman, horror author. I have some published work up on Amazon and 53 (at the time of writing) short stories on Inkitt. I've also shared many of these stories on Reddit before under the account name Aquareon.
The last time I was confronted about the apparent plagiarism was by other users in the comments of this post. There, I verified my identity by posting this message on Reddit in the comments of one of the stories I submitted in /r/libraryofshadows.
I'm not sure what else I can do. I saw something about posting a time stamped photo? I am unsure what good it would do, as I don't use a photo of myself for an avatar on Inkitt and haven't ever shared it on Reddit, that's generally an unwise thing to do on the internet.
My fear is that readers will see the bot posts, then after that see new submissions and think "oh that guy, he's a plagiarist. I won't upvote him". :/

The bot is Cheetah,
It has already removed the downvotes. So those posts are no longer flagged.You can reach out to the steemitabuse channel on slack if you continue to have any issues with cheetah. I will also let its creator know.edit: The bot isn't actually flagging the posts. It's just 'detecting' that the content appears elsewhere.
Thanks! By flagged what I meant is that the bot posted an accusation in the comments. I didn't know that word had some other meaning here.
No problem. The message (comments) the bot makes are being adjusted. Its still a work in progress, and should continue to get smarter. As you can see at the moment it's just detecting 'potential' plagiarism, and if you've looked around, there's lots of it. I think overall its a really positive bot for the community. But i know it can be frustrating to feel accused of plagiarism.
