Hey @cryptogee, I totally agree with you. I am new to the platform - coming from YouTube. And I've found a couple of challenges steemit will have to tackle in the future to really become sustainable. This being one of them. Like your approach. Having a hard time figuring out how all this works.

This is quite an old post, and the curation awards have changed quite a bit since I wrote it, and in fact are due to change again in the next hardfork (HF19)
