Gen 1 lasted a while, I had time to join (aug 2016) and then disappear for 7 months (new job and didn't understand) before returning prior to gen/wave 2.

Gen 3 time period has surpassed the length of Gen 1 now. Today we're the longest we've ever been without a bull market (or surge in users) in Steem.
This could well change over the coming months if the recent price action continues. I know you'd like a move but it's the opposite for me!
The opposite is also possible. We will probably first make a new low before bear market is finally over.
