#### Photoshop Tutorial: Using Layer

Using Photoshop high quality, multiple images together need a layer to create composite images. It is possible to create an image in their crossover with different layers in each layer. Using Photoshop's own format (psd) layer, but the JPEG format does not support the Layer Layer. **#### Create and use new layers **
To create a new layer, click the icon at the bottom of the layer panel. A new Transparent Layer will be created and Layer 1 itself will be named as Layer 2. To name the layer, double click on the name of the layer and type it in the name. An image can have many layers, so it is convenient to use the name for the chain.

Select from the part of the same image to create a new layer. Right-click on Layer via copy or Layer via cut. • To bring a part from another image as a new layer, open two images as well. Drag the image from the image to the layer to take it to another image. Apart from copy command in other softwares, using Photoshop in Photoshop, you can use new layer images.
Drag the top or bottom of the layer to change the position. To delete the layer, drag the layer to the bottom of the delete layer icon. To hide the layer, click on the left hand corner of the layer. The hidden layer can not be changed. • There are several icons written on top of the layers. These can be used to lock the nontransparent part, transparent part, layer or position of the layer.
#### Adjustment Layer
Changing the layer from the brightness-contrast of any layer to the layer changes. There is a layer called Adjustment Layer and this change can be made to keep the main layer as it is. • Select the specific layer to make the adjustment layer. Give Layer - New Adjustment layer command from the menu and give a name for the layer. A new layer will be created. This layer can be selected according to the type of layer.

**#### Layer Links **
By linking multiple layers, they can be changed together. If you need to move the other layer as much as possible with the removal of a layer, then link it to the layer. • Select the layers you need to link to link (Ctrl + click). Click the link button at the bottom of the layer panel.

#### Background layer
If you open a JPEG image, only one layer will be found in the background layer. Can not change to the background layer. To make it a normal layer, double-click on the layer thumbnail and name the new layer.

#### Layer Group
Some layers can be used together as a group. You can compare it with a file in a folder. • Create a new group, click the icon and give it a name. Drag the layer into this folder by dragging it.
Layered together
You can use the merge layer command to make a separate two or more layer in a layer.
To make an image together with all the layers, click on the options button in the top right of the layer panel and select Flatten Image. Or right-click on the layer and select Flatten Image.
To make the next layer from one layer to a layer, right-click on the layer and select Merge down. To exclude hidden layers, right-click on the layer to merge the remaining layers together, select Merge visible.

**#### Layer Blending **

Changing blending mode can be used to create new types of effects in response to one layer with another layer. Select the layer that you want to change the blending mode. • Try the Normal Text drop down list in other layers in the Layers panel.
