New Life - Day 18
I went today to check on my farm to see how my crops are faring and to see how grasses are responding to the herbicides sprayed on it. I planted maize and soya beans.
As you know, they are still new and great observation and care need to be taken in order to get good yields. This is the most important stage of it. If you neglect them in the hands of nature, things might not go well. I have experienced this in my last farming.
Last two weeks, I had to replant some places that didn't germinate or perhaps, animals have eaten them up.
Also, for my soya beans, you can see they are growing tall too and chasing the maize despite the fact the maize was first planted. The maize has already gone far ahead.
The stubborn grasses are still going down especially the ones at the far end. I didn't expect them to stay till now but such is life.
I also noticed that new leaves have stared germinating. They are already chasing my crops and are ahead new ones which I planted last week.
