But can anyobody explain why has the value of SBD gone up so much?
this would imply theres more demand than supply.....why is that?
Is it simply overpumped/speculation or has something fundamentaly changed?
Maybe most people are powering up and so there's a scarcity of sbd on the market?
All of the above I'd say, the whitepaper explains what SBD is and what is it meant to achieve...
But, it does have a very limited supply, even though we have increased the supply 4 fold since it's been above $1.00. Demand will always drive the price...
I have been waiting for some article that talk about steem dolar price and also its prediction to next sbd's price.
I have no idea about SBD other than we will keep increasing the supply as fast as possible as long as it is over $1.00 worth of Steem.
If you think the demand will out-run the supply then it will likely increase in value, but if you think the supply will out-run the demand then it will decrease..
Remember, we have mechanisms in place to burn SBD when it is below $1.00 and print more when it is above $1.00 worth of Steem..

The Best way and the most reliable one - find the gems (fundamentally strong projects which have strong team, a product in the mind to solve an important issue with high utility value). Ideally, it should have a reasonably deep moat vs. competitors. This is the recipie for success!
